First and foremost, just good, honest people with a bit of a good edge. I like good conversation that is more than just "thanks for the add"... or "hey". If you are passionate about the things in life that mean a lot to you, if you are not afraid to believe deeply and talk about it, if you live without those damned walls up (I know we all have them, but it is great to get the sledge-hammer out and go to town on it!!!). It is all good - the walls limit us not protect us (ok - that is my lesson for the day)... Hmm.. fun is important - the dorky, not-afraid-to-laugh-till-you-can't-breathe kind... Someone who has a passion for God and knows how awesome it is to pursue that relationship with Him.. That it is not about rules or fear, but about love and truth and complete satisfaction.

I have 4 kids.. so they keep me busy, but I love to travel when I can, I work out, love long walks, good movies, reading, music from classic rock, Christian, classical, dance, latin... the list is long so i will stop there...

I love learning and knowing something thoroughly then moving on to the next subject (usually something a little off-center)..


I go to church and it is a big and very important part of my life. God has shown me great grace and lavishes His love on me daily... ask me about it... I'll tell you!!! :)

Just a note to any guys that may be interested.. first of all... I am not looking. I have tasted deeply of true love in my life and know that it will be here again for me someday, but I will not settle for meeting, dating and broken hearts before that time. I may never have it again, but the beauty that God gifted me with in it probably could last me a lifetime in the treasure that it has been and still is for me. How can one find perfection more than once?

I will sit and trust in God and let myself grow spiritually and as a person. I am not looking for my other half for I am whole in who I am... I am not the one who is going to complete you, help you find yourself, nor make you whole... I am witty and can banter with the best of them.. (my flirtatious side). I laugh at myself a lot, I am fairly bright, but still pretty gullible at times too (weird, but true).. anyhow - if you are still reading by now - might as well say hi.. :)

Ok... so... I have been asked to list my imperfections... so here they are: way too many freckles, a quick temper (but it makes my kids laugh at how fast it comes and goes so I guess it is not that bad).. I am sooooooo impatient!!!! I HATE rude behaviour, I am opinionated, can be Ummmm... well ok - I have to be honest (ugh!) but can be dramatic at times (but if you ask me, it is all a matter of perception - some people like to be "animated" and full of "character").. um... I always have to have my toenails painted - now, some may say that is a good thing, but I am like obsessive about it - I like pretty feet and it made me crazy to go to the hospital last year for kidney stones and have a chip on my toes.. honest to God, I sat there on IV with morphine or demerol and all I could think was "Oh my gosh!!! Why can't my daughter find the right colour!!!" I was stressed. The no make up was fine, major bad hair days all in a row was fine, but the chip on the nail was... a nightmare. (ahahahah sad, isn't it? but true)... I will stop in the middle of the street to pray with someone if they need it (not a fault at all, but not well-received by all either)... I am spontaneous, impetuous, energetic and forward driven. Not everyone likes that either. Ok - I can't think of any more at the moment - oh yeah - occasionally forgetful, but the UTStarcom is a great improvement in my life!!! :) Ooooh an addition or two... Hmm I love to dance. A lot. In the hallway, in the car as I drive, in church, on a dance floor with my girlfriends (the whole two times a year I go) and anywhere else my two feet bring me. Thing is.. I am a bit of a spaz.. ok - a lot of a spaz. Oh and if you are looking for perfect, I am not perfect in any way at all - except that I am perfectly comfortable with that. I am very outgoing, but very shy at first.



I truly live for the "moments" that take us off guard.. the ones that are gifts.. sometimes it is mist on a torturously humid day (lol - or deodorant).. sometimes it is the soft touch on your face from one who cares.. sometimes it is a small child's hand reaching up and slipping into yours bringing warmth all over you.. sometimes it is when you look at a baby (that you dont know) and they just smile at you when your life is melting around you; giving you love when you dont feel lovable.. sometimes it is just sitting quitely by the lake and watching the moon and the stars dance on the water.. hearing the birds sing their songs of delight as you walk by them telling you that spring is here and that they are back for the next 7 months.. sometimes it is that look in the eyes with the one who loves you for all of who you are... sometimes it is knowing that there are angels all around us and a God that loves us enough to keep them there for us...

I also live to know people that are true to their heart. The ones that have let their own walls come down despite the risks and follow the leading of the whispers in their soul... These are the friends that I love to meet.
