Did you know....
John 1:12-13
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, {even} to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
How can this be?....
Rom 3:19-27
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith.
...Rom 3:31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
So you see, we are all sinners and our sin separates us from God and he demands a payment for our sin because He is a Just God and nothing impure is in Him or can dwell with Him. Yet because He does love us and for His Name and His Glory, He chose to pay the penalty for our sins, dieing in our place, rising from the dead and conquering death..sin's hold on us, and going to the Father in heaven where He waits until the appointed time and He will come again for those who believe in Him, who have been born again (made spiritually alive because we are originally born spiritually dead in our sin, see John 3:3-6), those who are the children of God.
John 3:3-6
Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"
Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Are you His child?...
Do you realize you are a sinner?... Your sin deserves death and eternal separation from God?...If you say you have not sinned you call God a liar...Rom 3:11-12 There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; All have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one."
So if you do know this, how again can you be saved?....repent & believe.....then follow Him & leave your old ways & world behind.
Mark 1:14-15
And after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
Mark 1:17
And Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men."
1 Pet 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to {obtain} an inheritance {which is} imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
that the proof of your faith, {being} more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.
I pray the Lord has given you understanding and that you are a fellow child of God and we will rejoice together in His presence. If you are not sure you may write me and I will try to help but it is the Lord who must open your eyes and heart, call out to Him.
