Title: I am Thankful

Blog Entry: I am thankful that I have great friends at the churches I go to. I was feeling down and my friend Sylvia reminded me that it was ladies night at the church. So I went with her and had a good time. We had a cookie party and watched a good Christian movie. If it weren't for Sylvia I would have stayed home all alone by myself. Then today after the service at the Asbury Church they gave me a big box of food and some money to buy a turkey with. It means alot to me since I will miss another Thanksgiving with my family. They live in Pennsylvania and my sister lives in New Jersey with her husband and my two nephews. I haven't seen my brother in two years. My mother either. I haven't been up there since my dad's funeral and sometimes I feel guilty. But I have enough on my plate right now without adding guilt to the list. Anyway, I will be joining my family soon enough when I sell this house and move on. I probably will be alot happier back home where I can forget about my past here and about my ex and his girlfriend and be at peace without all of the reminders like the house itself. I will be able to put it behind me and enjoy the hunt for my new apartment. I always did like the Scranton area.
