Wow it's been a while....It hasn't been intentional but college starts, jobs have akward hours ect.......
Anyhoo...I really liked my pastor's message today..He preached from John 5
5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
what i love so much about this passage was that Jesus didn't care about why the man thought he couldn't be made well, he was only interested in making the man well....RISE....we Christians make up so many excuses as to why we can't do something
...sometimes it's something as simple as a handshake or a hug, much less be made well...Rise...If you think God has the solution to your problem(trust me he does) then you should act like it, talk like it, breath like it, eat like it, sleep like it, LIVE LIKE IT....Rise out of your negative attitude...GET UP...God's got the solution but you got to STEP UP, REACH OUT ,AND GRAB IT!!!!!!! If you want to be made well, don't roll around in it!!! GET UP...
I don't mean to be harsh, but God's love is simply to good to lay around in your problems, just get up grasp his gift
