Hail our Life, our Sweetness, and our Hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished Children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs, morning and weeping in this veil of tears.
Turn then Most Gratious Advocate, thin eyes of
Mercy tward us. And after this our exile, show onto us
the Most Blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us oh Great Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
