2. Next, realize the purpose of money.
In Deuteronomy 8:18, God gives us “the power to get wealth, so that He may establish His covenant in the earth.” That’s the purpose—HAVE THIS IN MIND, when you think
about money.
3. Commit to God that you will use the abundance God gives you – to establish God’s
covenant in the earth—to help get the gospel out.
4. Think this: “Give and it will be given to you...”
Do you see it? God promises that IT will be given back to you in good measure, pressed
down, shaken together. “IT” will be given to you, AFTER you GIVE. Believe that
everything you give is coming back in good measure. When you think like this, giving
becomes an attitude, a mindset that guides your life.
5. Realize that God will never forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5 says “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” He is talking about our
finances, our daily needs. David said, “I was young, now old, and I have never seen the
righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)
You are the righteous and you are God’s seed. He has made a covenant to provide for you more than enough. Believe that today.
Declare that today:
God is my source. He meets all my needs according to His riches.
As abundance comes to me, I commit to using it to establish God’s covenant in the earth. No matter what’s going on in the economy, I have a covenant with God. God will not forsake me during a difficult time.
He is Jehovah-Jireh, my provider and He will never forsake me. I am not afraid to give, because IT WILL be given back to me in abundance. I am blessed in good times, and blessed in bad times, because GOD is my Father and my provider!
