Jeannette Rodgers - Of New Wine Ministries - daughter is missing
Here is the note that came in email:
Good morning,
It is with a heavy and broken heart that I come humbly to all of you for your strength, faith and prayers at this time. My 17 year old daughter has been missing for 11 days now after deciding to leave home with her boyfriend. She left me a note saying she was sorry that her decision would worry and disappoint many friends and family and reassured me that she would call, text or communicate with me to let me know she was safe.
This has not happened since I last saw her which was on September 28, 2008 on Sunday night at 10:05pm when we exchanged " I love you's and good night".
To date, Eric's family has informed me that he has most likely fled due to some bad decisions he has made and has legal consequences that he is fearful of facing. Eric (her boyfriend) told friends he was going through Texas to get to Mexico (where one of the other boys he got in trouble with is living).

Hence; the Texas State Police and Missing persons have also been notified. My daughter is also registered with Missing Persons in our city and at NCIC (National Crime Information Center).
My daughter is bi-polar, stopped taking her medication when she met him and does not have medication with her. She also lost over 50 pounds within the year.
She is a senior in high school getting A's and B's right now and is set to graduate in May. She was also going to a tech school for graphic communications, enjoying her class and proud of her artistic accomplishments. She has been responsibly working the same job at a hair salon for two years (since she was 15).
My heart hurts terribly and I am reaching out to the body of Christ for prayers regarding my daughters safe and prompt return home. More so, that God will reach into her heart and that she will heed the unction, change her mind and come home. I am trusting that God's protection has sealed around her and praying that even her boyfriend will turn around and do what is right.
