In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He made man out of the dust of the earth and man had fellowship with God. Man was given a choice of good or evil, to obey God’s commands or disobey them. Unfortunately man chose evil, disobeying God’s direct instructions. Fellowship with God was broken because God cannot fellowship with sinners and man was lost. Then man multiplied and covered the earth, but violence was everywhere. Because of man’s wickedness, God destroyed the earth’s inhabitants with water. Only one man believed and served God. He and his family were spared by God’s grace. Noah and his family only remained alive being kept alive by the ark God graciously gave for them, to spare them His wrath. And again man multiplied on the earth and did evil refusing to serve God. God chose a nation to bear His name and to serve Him, that nation was Isreal and He gave them laws to live by. God loved them and watched over them. He sent them prophets to teach them to obey His laws. But they rebelled and killed their prophets. God instructed His people to offer sacrifices to atone for their sins.( a lamb was used for this.) but they continually failed and turned away from the Lord. So God( the son being Jesus Christ ) left heaven to take human form. Jesus Himself would become the sacrifice, the lamb of atonement for man’s sins. Jesus left heaven to be born in a stable in a place called Bethlehem. A virgin was chose to bring forth God in human form. When the holy baby was born, his name was called Jesus. He grew up and was without sin, he taught man to love each other. Thou should love the Lord thy God with all your heart soul, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. He was challenged and crucified as a threat to establish religious and political order, but no one could find fault or sin in Him. His life was the only perfect life ever lived. Being perfect Jesus was not subject to death, the penalty for sin, but he volunteered in man’s place and took man’s penaltyâ€"death and separation from God. He became the Savior of all those who believe. Thru His righteousness we are restored to fellowship with God when we repent and believe. But satan was defeated because three days later Jesus rose from the dead. If the powers of darkness had known that this would happen they would not have crucified Jesus. Having told His followers that He would return again and told His followers to go out and preach to the people. In the future all who reject Jesus Christ will die in their sins. They will be judged guilty by the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself. They shall be cast into the lake of fire known as hell which was prepared for the devil and his angels and serve satan rather than God. Today many claim that Jesus was a liar, God is dead, Jesus was only a man, and the bible is a lie. You must decide, if He was a liar then forget about it, but if Jesus is who He claimed to be, your decision will determine where you spend eternity. What will you do with Jesus Christ? Believe Him or reject Him, repent or perish. The choice is yours.
