A New Year
Soon it will be a new year
lets make it one full of cheer
Don't look back, move ahead
forgetting all of the dread
Make this a year of happiness
not one of any distress
Do something for someone else daily
random acts of kindness o' so lovely
Remember those under persecution
Lets start a Holy Ghost revolution!
Praying in the spirit in sincerity
This will make things better in our community
The Lord will be returning any day
by praying we can show many the right way
This is the year of seven
the perfect number of heaven
God is so faithful and just
He truly is the only one we can trust
Won't you give your heart to Him?
Live in His light that never grows dim
May our mouths be full of praise
for our Lord the Ancient of Days
Jesus heals and mends all our hurts
His love is constant not in spurts
New beginnings and a clean start
let him enter into your heart
Just ask Him and you will receive
Don't listen to the evil one who can only deceive
These are my prayers for the new year
holding our loved ones o' so dear
God loves us so much
Won't you receive His loving touch?
