How do you feel about President Bush? Does he represent Christian values/morals in your opinion?

I say to a point yes....he does in fact need to press more for Christ but in this world today that is hard to do in politics....but who said the christian life would be easy....and as far as the no more war.....each one to there opinion but its relevant now as much as it was in the bible times....there must be an end to evil and war sometimes is that option that meets the end result needed!!

I feel that it is very hard to judge the President simply because we are not in his shoes. We can be a christian and make christian decisions for our own personal lives, but when it comes to pressing them onto the world it does'nt work. We live in a world where people have the freedom of choice and God also gives people choice. I am sure it is very hard to make the decisions the President has had to make and continues to make. It is impossible to please everone. It is not the job of the President to please everyone just as it is not God's job to please everone. It is our job to trust that they have our best interest at hand even when it is uncomfortable and painful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind , soul, and strenghth and lean not unto your own understanding.God has allowed for us to have Bush as President and has allowed for this war to happen for His Glory. It is hard to trust when we can't see the future, but God can.We have faith to sit in a chair that we are not sure is going to hold us up,we also have faith to get up every morning and walk out the front door not knowing what he day holds. Why don't we trust in someone who created all and has everything under control. Get behind the President and give him your support because in all reality God put him there and there is no second guessing God.

George Bush has made plenty of mistakes during his presidency, but so has his predecessors. The motives of the United States in general are what need to be at question here; why are we in Iraq? How is it that we are trying promote democracy in the middle east, but at the same time have been replacing democratically elected leaders for dictatorial tyrants in third world countries over the years? What is the difference between the middle east and Africa? If we care about spreading peace and standing up for injustice throughout the world, why did we not interrupt the incident in Rwanda in which over a million people in 90 days in 1994?

If America wants to be the country that stands up for the spreading of the kingdom of God, in needs a serious change in the ways it deals with foreign policy. As one of the richest and most powerful countries in the world, we have a responsibility to look out for our neighboring countries that are enduring genocide while we reap the resources of countries we invade to build democracy where we fed with military training and weapons just a few years before.
