Why are they still trying to leagalize homosexual marriage is this country still based on God people are trying to say its ok and God isnt offended by it I say he is and isnt it proved in the first chapter in romans???

Hey I agree! God says somewhere in the OT that, if a man shall dwell with another man as he would a woman then he shall be stoned. Quick Translation: If you truely want to fallow God and be Christlike don't be gay, because, God says no gays, and if God says no you should listen, because, God isn't going to make your life missrable, His purpose is to make life good and to be your friend! not mess you up! Gay is a sin!!

I totally agree with what yall are saying...i have many gay friends and i have tried to witness to them but they just dont change...i dont think that just because they are gay that i should stop talking to them....i know that when i was gay or thought i was, i felt bad when others looked down on me...but i think we should just love them...hate the sin not the person you get me.

Yes....I agree! People are different and thats ok! We shouldn't hate them for it but instead ask our selfs what would Jesus do? would he condem them leaving them feeling hurt and useless! Jesus wants us to love everyone even those we don't agree with and when he died on the cross, he died for everyone not just christians, not people who are perfect ( only Jesus qualify for perfect!), not people who are smart, but, for everyone, EVERYONE! Jesus loves us all equally and if we ask to be changed he'll do it! Even know it's a sin, He says ok no big, i forgive you, everyone sins, just ask for forgiveness and you are forgiven!

I agree with you about the homosexualality. It is down right disgusting and the bible speaks against it and GOD is totally against it. I live in Arizona and our state is continuing to fight against it becoming legal. Our church just had a rep there getting signatures signed to have it stated that a marriage is only between a man and wife.I think it is great that we can say what we believe on this site.

Hmm. The Bible does of course say homosexuality is a sin, but what I have observed is there is far too much hate coming from the church towards gay people. Because that's the point... they are PEOPLE. Somehow I don't think it's our place to meet them with judgement and callousness in our hearts. Every single one of us has sins that we live with, and when you start assigning different magnitudes to sins, i.e., homosexuality is a "really bad" sin, or somehow worse or more disgusting and offensive than other sins, you're definitely overstepping your bounds.

But that's just my opinion.

I don't think homosexuality is a sin.

There's so little love in the world, we should find it wherever we can.
