If you cannot love God after you know that He has saved you from the eternal suffering in hell that we deserve, then I say that you don't know God or His salvation. God is the highlight of our belief. Knowing Him is the best part of salvation. We get to know Him...and there is no way you could know Him and not love Him. If you struggle with loving the real God, then the problem is with you...not with God. It only proves the rebellion and hatred towards God that has ALWAYS been in your heart because of your sin nature. Changing what you believe the Bible says doesn't actually change who God is. If all the people who refuse to follow Jesus, who you claim will go to heaven even though they don't want to follow Jesus or know Him now, what makes you think they will want to know Him or be with Him in heaven. Remember, knowing Jesus is what makes heaven, heaven. The worst part of hell is not being with Jesus. That is the worst punishment there is. Why would all the people who don't want to be with Him now want to be with Him then. It is unfortunate that we all are hostile to God and choose hell...but you should be very afraid since you are encouraging people to spend eternity in God's wrath when you claim that is what you don't want for them. Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. Luke 17: 1-2

The “danger” in preaching the truth resides only in the imagination of the person who doesn’t understand the truth. IMHO, "HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE" by James Coram is the most powerful of all of the many writings in existence that show that a correctly, (literally, not interpretively) translated Bible teaches universal salvation, not eternal torment, or even annihilation. In fact, to me it is so powerful that it renders all arguments to the contrary completely irrelevant to the truth that it proves that, sooner or later, universal salvation will most certainly occur. It can be read in its entirety online at http://concordant.org/expohtml/HisAchievement/index.html Or, it can be Googled up by typing in HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE It has seventeen chapters, each chapter having its own highlighted heading followed by a short introduction. Just click on the highlighted heading and the entire text of that chapter will appear. Since I have read many writings, the sum total of which contain every argument in existence in support of the idea that the Bible teaches eternal torment, I am confident that if anyone were to read "HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE" in it's entirety, they would change their mind about their belief that the Bible teaches eternal torment or annihilation. I pray that God will have mercy on your soul. Only He can open up your eyes to the truth of why we need a savior. God bless.

Don't worry about me. Because of what Christ accomplished for us all by His death and resurrection, through the power in the blood of His cross, I am confident that He is going to present me faultless to our Father with exceeding great joy. I would like you to be aware that there is a frequently posted message on Christian forums called THE DANGER OF UNIVERSALISM. In response to that message I am posting the following. The “danger” in preaching the truth resides only in the imagination of the person who doesn’t understand the truth. I have been sitting here for awhile reading and praying about what you are saying and the response by Bourne. I have to tell you. You are quoting MEN Bourne is quoting the Bible which is Gods Love Letter to us. The way I am understanding what you are saying is that there is no hell.. That all of us go to heaven no matter how we live our lives or how we treat others. Am I Correct?? O.K. to that I say that if there is no hell then there must be no heaven, or good and evil, right or wrong. Then why did God put on a Skin suit come down here and be whipped, nailed to a cross and die? Jesus gave us two commandments LOVE THY GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL AND TO LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. Why would you have to worry about living in hell for eternity if you accept God at his word. I am not sure what your literal translation is referring to. I am not a Bible student. However I do know that in the end I will be with my Savior and praise him today for what he did for ME. He suffered for me he died for me. He does not want us to live in hell forever that is why he wrote the bible and gives us a guide to live by. NO where in the Bible does it say because you are a Christian you will have a life that is perfect with nothing bad ever happening. I am not trying to change what you believe, I am just sharing with you what I know is the Truth written by God. You can take it as you want that is why God gave us our free will. I will keep you in my prayers and God Bless.
