There are a few bible colleges in ny, like Elam (sp?) and word of life. they are more like college prep schools. They arent very good if you want to finish a degree or if you are not into strict rules about dress and relationships.
Houghton is very country and isolated, also they are wesleyan. dont go there if you dont like to live in the poorest county in NYS.
Daemon is alright, not the best education so i hear, but decent majors.
Messiah is toward the secular end but its a good school, id recommend it.
also Roberts Wesleyan is very good, they arent wesleyan they are actually free methodist.

Houghton and Messiah are two of the best. I myself am attending Houghton, and I find its reclusiveness more solace than seclusion... it is a soothing antidote for the pain of living in a corrupt and pain ridden world.
If you wish to look outside New York, there is Gordon College in Masssachusetts, which is not that far... in fact, from my town, Gordon is just as close if not closer than Houghton.
