Hi, I'm new to this site though not so new to Christ. I accepted the Lord almost three years ago and was going to a nice church but then two year ago I got sick that stopped me from going to church and since then I noticed myself drift away from the Lord. Recently, with the help of the Lord, I started getting better and have even been going to bible study group that is held my my uncle. Slowly I see myself getting better and I decided to recommit myself to the Lord. I started reading my bible daily and have started personal relationship with Him. Its tough because I am the only christin in my family and sometimes they (brother&sisters) make fun and tease me. I hope that I can find some real friends in Christ here.

I know where you are coming from sister. My mom and dad never go to church and thanks to God and my aunt I went to church. I have been going steady since I was about five and now I am a youth leader in my church. I know what it's like to not go with family it's tough, but what you have to remember sister is this, God can do all things and if he wanted your family to go to church then he can prick their heart and it's up to them whether or not they go. I'll be praying for you sister. With love in Christ- Jon Fields

Thank you. You're right it's hard but I keep praying that God will as you say prick their hearts and they Will choose Him and to serve Him. I have extended family members who are in Christ and they help me learn and grow in my faith despite my family.
