Amen to that. I have learned such valuable lessons from my kids. I know that this was with purpose. Every laugh, cry, breakthrough all the things that go into and come out of being a parent is rewarding, yet challenging. I am a single parent but with the Lord's help he is truly the best Father my 2 love muffins could ever wish for. THanks for reminding me how lucky and blessed I truly am. God Bless

My 4th child was born with an 80 percent hearing deficit... we were going to have hearing aids made for him and needed 3 flat line tympanograms done in 3 consecutive months... on the 3rd one he had been healed...

He had fallen 3 weeks before and needed Chiropractic adjustments of his neck for torticollis... that, I believe, was used of God to heal his hearing deficit.

Not all maladies are healed of God. Sometimes our deficits can be used to bring Glory to God.

As for my blessing story...

I have a son in the Air Force... just seeing him graduate from basic training was enough to really make me proud!

I was born with a huge hearing loss in both my ears. My parents started me on hearing aids as well. They help a great deal! However, once I got to high school I decided that I wanted to make it with out the aids. It was probabaly 50 times harder for me, but I managed with God's help.

I just wanted to say that God has a plan for son. I commend you for looking to God through this, knowing it will all work out for the best. I will be praying for you and your son. I will also pray for your son in the Air Force. God Bless!
