Even though it's by Stephen King, I thoroughly enjoyed "The Green Mile". Also, "The Quiet Man", "The Blue Butterfly", "The End of the Spear", and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

I enjoy most every type of music, especially contemporary Christian, such as "Mercy Me" and Brian Littrell. I also like Country, Classic Rock, Classical, Big Band and nearly everything else with the exception of rap and heavy metal.

I enjoy learning more about the bible and strengthening my relationship with God. I like people with good manners and who take the time to listen to other's opinions, even if they don't agree. I love animals, of all kinds; slithery or furry.

I was born and raised about 23 miles from where I now live in Leavenworth Washington, which is now a well known German themed tourist town. I had a great childhood, and have known Jesus Christ in my heart as long as I can remember. In 1992, after going through a divorce, remarrying, losing one job and starting another, and the death of my granddad, I came home from work one day in July and could no longer leave. I had become agoraphobic. I had been having anxiety and panic attacks for some time and all the stress had finally pushed me over the edge. I was homebound for about 6 years. The good part is I found my way back to God because of it. I remember one day sitting by my front window asking God to show me that things were going to get better. It was mid January, and like every other January in Washington, it was cold, cloudy, and we hadn't seen the sun in weeks. I asked God to let the sun shine as a symbol of His promise that I would find my way through all of my pain. No more than 10 minutes later, the sun broke from between the clouds, and shone down across my lap. What a miracle! It lasted for only a few short minutes and it was weeks again before we had more sunshine. From that day on, I never doubted God's love or promises again.
About five years ago, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and though I have gone through some down times (and many painful times) because of it, I've never lost my belief that God is with me and that any suffering I endured would never be in vain.
I'm now trying to start a business that is part business/ part passion/ part giving (not necessarily in that order). It began when my father in law passed away and I wanted to do something special for his daughter, who was pregnant with her first/only child. I took his flannel shirt and made a stuffed "memory bear" from it. Since then I have made more for other family members, and when the word spread, I began getting regular orders. I enjoy the feeling of knowing I'm bringing a little bit of healing to grieving families.
I love renewing my walk with the Lord, and meeting and getting to know others who are also growing in His word. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
