I suppose the most typical adjective with which I'd describe myself now is "defiant". The most effective way to motivate me to do something is to tell me I can't do it. The best way to steer me into some task is to say it can't be done. I believe in the impossible.

I came to faith by trying to prove God wrong. Still am. In the meantime, since I'm not apparently good enough to do it (and be honest with myself), I'll do what He says.
