Kitchen Sabotage!

God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
1 Corinthians 14:33

Kathleen’s kitchen cupboards and drawers were a mess. Cupboards overflowed with mismatched dishes, receipts, expired prescriptions, and empty bottles of cough medicine. Twist ties, clothespins, and rubber bands cluttered the silverware drawer. There was no doubt about it-her kitchen had been sabotaged by the excess of daily life!

When her husband announced an upcoming camping trip, Kathleen sensed an opportunity to undo some of the damage to the kitchen. She helped pack food, swimming supplies, sleeping bags, flashlights, toys, and the clothes needed for a weekend in the woods. But when the time came for the car and camper to pull out of the driveway, she was not aboard. She turned back to the house to face the kitchen-clutter monster!

Armed with cleaning supplies, trash bags, and new shelf paper, Kathleen went to work. Soon she had unloaded the contents of the cupboards onto the kitchen table and the hallway floor. Time flew by, and she barely stopped to eat. But the interiors of those cupboards smelled fresh and clean, and the only items allowed back were things that were supposed to be there. Then she tackled the drawers.

When Kathleen finished, the cupboards were done. The drawers were organized. The counters were clear. Her body ached, but it felt good. She had taken a disorganized mess and made it into a useful kitchen once again.

Is there an area of your home or life that has been sabotaged by the excesses of life?

Our life is frittered away by detail...simplify, simplify.

The question for today is “I can improve my outlook by organizing?

If this very moment was the last you would ever spend on this earth, where would you stand? If you had to pause for even a second to think about it you're lost!! That is if it happened this moment. The good news is it didn't and you have these next moments to accept the gracious gift that Christ is offering today salvation through him, forgiveness of every sin you've ever committed and a slate wiped clean. A new beginning, the blessed assurance of life eternal in heaven. So while these things on earth seem so pleasing yet leave you so empty searching for meaning and purpose, we receive that through Christ Jesus. The Christian life isn't easy and definitely doesn't match up with what the world believes, but folks here on earth isn't what it's all about, we're just passing through to a greater place, imagine no more death, sorrows, pains, diseases nor unkindnesses, rejection, etc. That will be marvelous. Then we get to stand in the presence of almighty God!!!! You see it's simple God loved us so much eventhough Adam and Eve messed up he made a way through his son Jesus Christ to bring us back to him. Just ask him to forgive you then just trust God to lead your life, if you do that watch how wonderful it will be, otherwise you'll spend valuable time trying to find real purpose and meaning in your life. So I've already told you how, now it's up to you to DO!! God loves you more than you will ever know and he will have you just the way you are. It is a free gift with no strings attached. I will be praying for you all and I love you all in the name of the father, son, and the holy spirit. God bless love glenn

End Times Revival
a.k.a.
Latter Rain Revival

What is revival? Revival means simply to bring back to life. There are things happening around the world, things people are claiming to be the beginning of The Latter Rain Revival. What is the latter rain revival? The latter rain revival is also known as Joel’s outpouring. We find this in the Book of Joel, many like myself believe it is referring to this generation. Many have different beliefs on when it is to take place. Some think it is taking place now, like myself. Others believe it will be just before the end of Tribulations. But I think all agree it is this generation that will experience it.
Latter Rain Revival comes from the following verses;

Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. (Joel 2: 23-24)

And Afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Joel 2:28-32).

Now I believe that the revival is in it’s beginning stages, and in order for it to take place, (as it will) some things must take place. Revival begins with a us earnestly seeking God’s Word, and a genuine sorrow for our sins, It begins with repentance!

I also believe This generation of young people is a chosen generation and a generation of destiny! Why the youth? Because something has happened to the large amount of believers. I talk about Jesus returning and the general response is yeah ok, sounds nice. The church has lost something. I remember in the 80's the Pentecostal movement, It was awesome! And now it was fallen into the same trap and the rest. I believe God is going to knock down the walls of denomination that divide His Church. The True Church, is The Body of Christ! (Us). How will this happen, by The Youth! Jesus called the children unto him, why? Because they receive his words as they should be received, and believe with a whole heart! They believe that what he says is Truth and that all things are possible!
One more thing from Joel and this generation, The Bible tells us ‘Your sons and daughters will prophesy’, what does this mean? I believe it can be taken literally, but

also remember to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to people is also prophesy! And so is this not revival? Bringing back to life The Church? I believe it to be. How do you know this is the time for the revival? The Bible tells us no one knows the hour of the Lords return, but it also gives us things to watch for and prepare us for His coming!

“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us, he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us, on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.

Let us acknowledge the Lord; Let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; He will come to us like winter rains, like the rains that water the earth. (Hosea 6:1-3).

Let us look at this, “after two days he will revive us”

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. (2 Peter 3:8)

The time of revival has come!
The world is in distress, God’s hour is at hand!
The devil feels his victory is all but won!
But our Lord has saved His best for last!

Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first then the cheaper wine after the guest have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now. (John 2:10)

Let it rain down on us Lord as you have said you would!, Prepare us for your awesome power! Use us to show your Glory! Revive us Lord so that we can do Your Will, and fulfill our destiny!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen! mel

Send in the clowns

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
Colossians 3:23

Sheila noticed posters going up all over town, announcing that the circus was coming. Lion tamers, wire-walkers, trapeze artist and of course, those most anticipated performers- the clowns-were on their way!.

Clowns work hard at their profession. In fact, in order to travel with the Ringling Brothers Circus, clowns must successfully complete clown college-an intense course of study that covers everything from makeup to pratfalls, costuming to making balloon animals, juggling to sleight of hand.

As Sheila stood at the stove sauteing vegetables for supper, she sensed a connection to this group of performers in the circus. Though she didn’t wear a clown costume or clown make-up, she worked hard at juggling-balancing her time among home, family, work, friends, and church. She wasn’t skilled at card tricks or sleight of hand, but she could work “magic”, transforming everyday grocery items into flavorful meals seven days a week. And while she might not know the in and outs of balloon-animal art, she made lots of other things, from costumes for school plays to crafty Christmas gifts and decorated birthday cakes. And she had taken many a fall-not pratfalls, but real falls-when she’d gone in-line skating with the children or walked the dog on icy sidewalks.

God’s Word says that we are to work at whatever we do with all our hearts, whether we’re clowns or cooks, minstrels or mothers. And when we do, we might just provide our friends and families some laughter along the way!

Lord turn the routines of work into the celebrations of love.

The question for today is “The funniest thing that has happened to me was?
