hmmmmm.........old reprobate, sobered up and cleaned up in 1981, then in 1998 stopped running from Jesus, realized I could do nothing of myself and that only through His grace did I even live. Been trying to figure that all out since. Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, but He is always there to love, correct, chastise and encourage me.
Been married to Judith since 1997, though we shared an abode for 6 years (hey, we were, and still are, sinners....God had a plan....we first met when we were 16 - once - didn't see each other for 24 years after that....you don't think God works His plans for us in mysterious ways?). We have 3 sons and a daughter between us, all grown and working their way through early adulthood and very skeptical of their parents' Christian beliefs. We pray for 'em!
We're both retired for a season, but not planning on being jobless forever.....Christians never really retire, they just change their focus, so I'm told, and I hope it's true. We're listening for God's leading, and hoping to be responsive to His call.
We have some fantastic, wonderful Christian friends who help us in our walk, laugh and cry with us, and hopefully we help them in turn. God is awesome.......
