Well, last night mom and I went out to Amanda's and my mom had a riding lesson. It went great, the parts of it that I saw anyways; I was feeding the horses dinner. Luna's foal is growing SO FAST- he's already taller than my waist at the withers. And Luna is doing great, too... I'm working on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I get to ride her all three days, and exercise Ren a few times too. I can't jump him, though, until we get softer footing in the arena. He has a splint from jumping on hard ground. Well, anyway, I just got back from Sonic's- we had to give him a shot. He's looking a lot better on the left foreleg, where he injured himself- no signs of lameness at all today. We gave him a shot of Banamine and we're pumping him full of painkillers and joint supplements... he's doing wonderfully. The vet came out yesterday and said I'd be riding him normally again in a week- it might even be sooner than that. Well, thats about it for MY life today- I'll add more later. -Bonnie
I love my horse... I just got back from the barn, and fed/groomed/rode him. Ben came with me, and drove us from the barn to the house to the road to the end of the road and back... lol, it was a lot of fun. He also walked along with me and SB when we went on our nightly trail ride- bareback of course. Right now I'm relaxing and drinking a root beer float... it's delicious. On Monday, the farrier is going to come out and trim/reshoe Sonic- and he'll hopefully be balanced a little more. I think we're going to ditch the shoes and just go to monthly trimming, since his whole problem is that darned foot growing unevenly. *sigh* Oh well. I won't worry about it, just leave it to God... he knows best.  Add more tomorrow, -Bonnie
Well, I slept in till 11:00 this morning- it was SO nice... I was unusually tired- normally I'm up and awake by 8:30. The squirrel is doing fine- wait, I didn't tell you guys this. I have a baby squirrel right now that my dad brought home from work- it was dying of heat stroke, and so now it's in a birdcage in our dining room. We called a vet, and she couldn't find any place to take it... so, we're keeping him until the heat wave breaks and then we're going to turn him loose. Nothing new. I think I'm going to make myself some breakfast/lunch... seeing as it's already past noon, lunch. -*yawn* Bonnie 
Wow. Well, I'm going to make an ATTEMPT at keeping a blog, although I doubt I'll be able to keep adding on to it every day... *coughshortattentionspancough*. First I'll start with a little about me. You don't need to know how old I am, just that my name is Bonnie and I'm what some people call "freak" and what others call "interesting". I'm a huge horse addict, anyway... I own a horse, lease another, and take lessons on a different one. I work for lessons at a Warmblood horse farm. I don't board my horse there, but I might move him in October. We'll have to see. My horse's name is Sonic Bob, or SB for short. He's 25 in people years, which would make him about 80 in horse years. Needless to say, I don't ride him very hard- he has arthritis, and is sore a lot of the time. My mom and I have done just about everything possible for him- injections, feed-through supplements, topical painkillers... everything. We try to keep him comfortable and happy... he's the most pampered horse in the country, I'm sure of that. Spoiled rotten, and he loves it... Nothing much to say about me. I'm pretty dang average... when I'm not out working or riding at the barn, I'm online talking to friends. The great thing about MSN Messenger... when you have more than 30 contacts, there's bound to be at least one online.
