" Imagine Me "

I've always had a sense,
That You held my life as it began
A closeness, understood
Yet never described to anyone
An inner peace that's questionless
A comfort from all harm,
Assurance that I've grown to know,
And trust through every storm
But as my life grew strong, I tossed Your love about
Yet even still I know at times, was You who bailed me out
So am I the same to You, as when I knew no wrong
Could I lean as I once did, though it's been so very long
If I reach out,
will You take my hand
Will I find the strength I need
To be more than I am
Will You hear me call Your name
Will all my faith remain, If no answer came
When I think back now, to when I was so very young
Could I've imagined You, and all I've had You become
But the truth is plain to see, more proof could there never be
For right here in Your very words , You first Imagined me
When I reach out, and I take Your hand
You build a fire in me, to see this battle's end
You hear me call your name
the Lord of always still remains.
And You Love Me, yes You love me
Just the same.
