My Ambitions.
God referred to himself as the great I AM. Truely God is all in all, complete, Holy, and Awesome. I also believe that he has given us characteristics passions and callings that define our purpose in Life. I Love catchy phrases because they are easy to remember. Hopefully this inspires you. So please read this and think about the special person God has made each of you.
I Cor 9:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of themâ€"yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me."
By the Grace of God I am a
Eternal Optimist-Focusing on the positive side of Life. Looking for God in the difficulties and trails of Life. My favorite and optimistic verse is Phil. 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableâ€"if anything is excellent or praiseworthyâ€"think about such things."
I am
Globally Challenged-God has given me a heart to tell the world about Jesus one person at a time. Matt 28:19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
I am
Giving it all for Jesus Christ-God has called me to Love and the verse that challenges me more than any is this. I John 3:16 "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers."
I am not saying this is who you have to be. These things are personal challenges in my life and personal challenges that I can only start to do with God's Help. Hopeful this is encouraging to you and God has given you personal challenges that he has to help you with.
God Bless you my Family in Christ.
Remembering the things that shaped my view of Christianity helps me stay steadfast.
1. a desire to be an example of God word not Just a hearer only.
2. Experiencing God: Find out where God is working and Join him.
3. Pineapple Story by Otto Koning a Missionary to the Congo: surrender everything to God. Possesions, relationships, reputations, health, family ect.
The best influence in my Christian walk is My savior. Who can live up to such a selfless example! Help me God to be more like Christ.
I John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
Thanks for letting me share my heart.
Read this if you want to be a saint by the grace of God in his son Jesus Christ.
If you have told one lie, you are a liar. If you have stolen anything (irrespective of value), you are a thief. If you have looked with lust, you have committed adultery in your heart. If you hate someone, you've committed murder in your heart. Your sin has angered God. The Bible teaches that you are His enemy. On Judgment Day, you will end up in Hell. But there's good news: "God commended His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Jesus Christ took your punishment, then He rose from the dead and defeated the grave. If you repent and trust Him, God will grant you everlasting life. Read your Bible daily and obey it. God will never let you down.
How to Become a Christian
You do not become a Christian by anything you do. You do not become a Christian by being a member of a church. You do not become a Christian by being sincere. You do not become a Christian by anything you say.
What must you do? You must believe in Jesus alone; you must trust Him alone; you must accept Jesus' sacrifice for your sins alone and nothing that you do in any way.
Though there are no rules or steps to becoming a Christian, the following is a biblical summarization of what you need to know and do:
1. You must recognize your sinfulness before God: "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned" (Rom. 5:12, NIV)
2. You must recognize that your sin has caused a separation between you and God: "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2).
3. You must believe that Jesus is the only way to God: "I am the way, the truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father but by Me" (John 14:6).
4. You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins because Jesus has the authority to forgive you of your sins: "Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me'" (Matt. 28:18, NIV)...and
Jesus told you to ask Him for your requests: "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (John 14:14, NIV)...and
Jesus is the one who forgives sins: "But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins....'He said to the paralytic, "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home"'" (Mark 2:10-11, NIV).
This last "step" is called receiving Jesus. John 1:12 says, "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (NIV).
5. You must turn away from your sin "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent" (Acts 17:30, NIV)
"Produce fruit in keeping with repentance" (Matt. 3:8, NIV)
If you want to become a Christian you must accept Jesus as your Savior. You must pray to Him and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart.
He will. He loves you. Salvation is only a prayer of faith away.
