I wrote this poem when I was feeling very depressed and at a very low time in my life, before I decided to recommit myself to the Lord.

Empty:

Sitting in the dark
I feel the vast emptiness
that surrounds me.
I feel disconnected from the
world, the people, from life itself.

Emptiness is ll I know; empty and alone is
I'll ever be.
