I love this verse

it explains so much of the world today, so many problems and so much pain..

to me our lives are like dams.Dams take alot stress from the pressure of holding back so much water, and through the natural course of time they wear out and need repair, sometimes they break and cause a flood

our lives are the same. when we look to fill the holes in our lives we often turn to several options that we're ordered by our lord not to take, worldy things such as, drinking(eph 5:18),pointless sex(eph 5:3), and the love of money(mat 6:24)...

Ephesians 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit

Matthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

do you ever wonder why celebrities tend to have horrible lives?(here's your cue---- . because they don't use the right stuff to fix there dam, they use sex,drugs and money, when Jesus is the only fix. I pray more every day for God to help me fix my dam with the right stuff from now on..
