Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God

OUCH!!

I know that i often displease God

So the initial response to this is,"Do i not have faith?", and so i question who i am, what i do, and how do i fix this.

But today in a study i'm doing, i found the relief to this uncertainty, in the rest of this verse that i've rarely heard

Hebrews 11:6
. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

WOW!!!

This verse doesn't say that when i screw up i don't have faith, i've thought that for years. This verse says that i can't please God if i don't believe in him and seek him. I sure as heck believe in him, I wouldn't be here now if i didn't, and i am seeking God like never before now.An understanding of this one verse was such a relief to me today...God blessed my heart imensly
with one sentence from his word and i am greatful beyond comprehension...
