Dead Faith

Ok, my last update, was a good biblical definition of faith. My update for today is about a faith that's alive versus a faith that's dead... What do you think dead faith is? any guesses? Dead faith is faith without works. The bible says so in James Chapter 2 James 2:15-17 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Now don't get my wrong i don't believe that you can work your way into God's grace...If you had to work for it, it wouldn't be grace now would it? But it will do no one any good for you to say I believe and never act like it. When you live by faith and not by words, you will become a different person, you will step out of the comfort zone, give money you are not sure you can afford to give(your first ten percent), and give up your fleshly desires in order to be a good and FAITHful servant..So yeah i guess i'm done for today
