Love is a huge theme of the bible, after all the bible does that God is love, but in our day and time love is so misunderstood and has been cheapened by the media, court system, and at sometimes even the Christian church.

Why is our divorce rate so high?
Why are so many teenage girls mothers?
Why are people turned away from the church?

Because of a lack of love......

You know every day on t.v. sitcoms there are unmarried couples who "love" each other, and so that makes it o.k. for them to go jump in the bed, you and I both know this isn't the truth, but so many are o.k. with this perception of love, it just isn't.

1 Corinthians 13 is the love(N.I.V)/Charity(K.J.V) chapter

(I looked it up: charity in the bible is widely considered to be the love between men or people, i was curious, so there we all go, and the word charity is defined as love in the dictionary)

But included in that chapter it states....Love (charity) is patient...hmmmm...If that aplies to love between man and women, which i am convinced it does, that means that love waits for the altar, so keep it in your pants buddy

Also in included in this chapter are statements that say even the gifts of God (tongues/testifying, and prophecy) are worthless without love, so if the very gifts of God are worthless without love, what is a church withoout love?


Charity suffereth long
and is kind
charity envieth not
charity vaunteth not itself
is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly
seeketh not her own
is not easily provoked
thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity
but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things
believeth all things
hopeth all things

Charity never faileth
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
