I was awaken this morning with a poem on my heart. The Lord said get up and write, so I did! This is what became of the prompting of His Holy Spirit! I pray you are blessed.



Tattered Pages


My life was like an open book,

Pages torn from cover to cover.

Wallering in worldly sin,

I made it my friend and lover.

.


Each chapter lay before me,

My life began to unfold.

Each was marred with sin,

Never a happy ending to be fortold.

.


Then something wonderful happened,

With each and every chapter and verse.

Jesus re-wrote my tattered book,

And lifted that awful curse!

.


He erased all the shame and guilt,

And made each page blank to the sight.

And upon this tablet of snow white

My new story I shall gladly write.

.


Now between these many pages,

From the beginning to the end.

I have a new & Precious Author,

A wonderful and trusted friend.

.


My Jesus is my everything,

He is the greatest of all my fans,

Thank You for completing my story,

Most grateful, Precious Lord, I am!
