i can feel His presence in the rising sun
and when rain falls from the sky
He sent His Son to this earth
the world's sins to forgive
i know im undeserving of His love
but He proved it on Calvary
Christ's blood was shed for me,
and unfortunate soul among the los
i want to be counted among the sheep
when the trumpets call
at the great day in the sky
i want to be called His
each breath I take cannot be called my own
my God, my Savior, my best Friend
when all hope seems lost and forlorn
i look to the cross and i know
that He'll always be there
all others will forsake me, but His love
is one to cover all of my sins
i long to hear the words, "well done,
come and enter in"
because He is my God, my Savior, my best Friend
